German sourdough bread stands out with its healthy rye content, which leads to darker color, denser interior and crunchier crust as compared to San Francisco sourdough.
German sourdough is mild and creamy rather than tangy. Our sourdough fermentation takes 36 hours.

large: 44 oz ; 1250 grams

Bread storage:
- For best results, our products should be kept at room temperature upon arrival and consumed within 3 days of delivery.
- The bread can alternately be frozen upon arrival for up to 12 weeks. If you will be storing them in the freezer, please allow approximately 30 minutes to defrost then bake it in the oven at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Frozen bread that only thaws at room temperature will dry out quickly.
